This Inter-Rater Reliability training using the North Carolina Teacher Evaluation Tool provides an opportunity for administrators to review a video of a teacher's lesson and come to consensus on ratings. Participants will focus on Standards 2 and 4 through group discussions and activities.

Standard IIa: Focus on Learning and Teaching, Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment: The principal/assistant principal leads the discussion about standards for curriculum, instruction, and assessment on research and best practices in order to establish and achieve high expectations for students.

Standard IVc: Teacher and Staff Evaluation: The principal/assistant principal evaluates teachers and other staff in a fair and equitable manner with the focus on improving performance and, thus, student achievement.
